About Robert Castle
Rob Castle is the founder and managing partner of The Castle Law Firm. He takes great pride in providing personalized, professional legal representation that helps his clients achieve their business goals. Rob is a member of the Illinois State Bar and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He graduated, cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he served on the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal. While in law school, Rob worked as a judicial clerk for the Illinois Court of Claims. He received his B.A. in History from Indiana University.
Rob is a proven business attorney and trusted advisor. Throughout the course of his career, he has guided countless businesses, from upstart “mom and pops” to large public companies, franchisors, financial services entities, and their representatives through various corporate, securities, franchise, and license matters. Rob has a proven track record for defining and executing nuanced strategies for general business operations, complex commercial transactions, intricate regulatory and compliance issues, and disputes in various phases of the litigation process. He has a strong ability to negotiate and draft clear narratives for all types of business contracts, advise business owners on entity type and structure, outline metrics for success, provide up-to-date market assessments and risk analyses, and resolve disputes for his clients.
Prior to founding The Castle Law Firm, Rob practiced at two highly respected Chicago law firms where he represented national and international franchisors, as well as some of the nation’s most successful broker-dealers, investment advisers, private equity funds, and commodity pool operators, in various transactional, regulatory, and corporate matters.
